Recipe: Peanut, tahini and chocolate date bars
Our dates on the vine are the star ingredient in these quick and no-bake vegan bars. Recipe by Milena Krais, www.milenakrais.de

Ingredients for one loaf tin (about 13x35 cm)
- About 30 dates
- 150 g peanuts, roasted & salted
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 200 g dark chocolate (68%)
- Peanuts, salt flakes and chocolate for decorating
Instructions
- Line a tart tin or loaf tin with baking paper.
- Pit the dates and press them into the mould.
- Layer the peanuts and tahini on top.
- Melt the chocolate and pour it over the date mixture.
- Decorate with chopped peanuts, chocolate and salt flakes.
- Allow to set in the fridge and then cut into small cubes or bars. The date bars will keep for several weeks in an airtight container in the fridge.
