Recipe: Feta dip with date topping

Ingredients
Dip:
- 150 g plant-based feta alternative
- 150 g plant-based cream cheese alternative
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1⁄2 organic lemon zest
- 1-2 tsp olive oil
- Pepper
Topping:
- 90 g dates
- 90 g Kalamata olives
- 20 g pine nuts
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 2 sprigs basil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place the feta and cream cheese alternative in a medium-sized ovenproof dish.
- Add the grated garlic, lemon zest, freshly ground black pepper and olive oil.
- Mash everything with a fork and mix well.
- Bake the mixture in the oven for about 20–25 minutes, until the surface is lightly golden on top.
- Meanwhile, prepare the topping: pit the dates and olives, dice them into small cubes, and place in a bowl. Finely chop the rosemary, cut the basil into strips and add to the bowl. Add the lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Remove the finished dip from the oven, top with the date and olive topping and serve with bread.
