Recipe: Roasted Nuts
Crunchy roasted and seasoned nuts are simply delectable. That's why you can get them in a 1-kilo pack in the gebana online shop. But if you have a hankering for a different mix of nuts or different spices, you can easily prepare the nuts yourself at home. Recipe by Corinna Frei, Schüsselglück

Not only is it fast and easy to make roasted nuts yourself – a nut mix neatly packaged in a small jar also makes a great last-minute gift!
Ingredients
- 200 g raw nuts (Corinna uses our macadamia nuts)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 tsp smoked hot paprika powder
- 1 dash of liquid smoke (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 170°C using top and bottom heat.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except for the salt and spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with salt and roast for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Take care not to burn the nuts. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
The roasted nuts can be stored in a jar for at least two weeks. They taste great on their own or sprinkled over a crisp salad or baked vegetables.
