Recipe: Orange Clafoutis
Hobby chef Silvio Iacconi shares another recipe idea for our fresh organic oranges. This time a dessert!
10 servings (24 cm springform tin); time: 45 minutes.
Note: This recipe is also suitable for other citrus fruits.
Ingredients
- 3 oranges
- 4 eggs
- 120 g plain flour
- 100 g icing sugar
- 5 dl cream
- 0.5 dl milk
- Cognac
- Salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 220°C (fan oven).
Fillet the oranges and cut into slices around 0.5 cm thick. (Dicing etc. is also fine.)
Beat the eggs and icing sugar together in a bowl using a whisk. Add the flour and mix into a homogenous mass. Now add the cream, the milk and a decent shot of cognac, as well as a pinch of salt. Next mix everything together with a handheld mixer.
Grease a small springform tin with butter and place the oranges inside. Then cover over with the clafoutis mixture.
Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes, leave to cool and enjoy.
